This year, I'm determined to actually TRAIN for the Strathmore Women's triathlon. It's a sprint, so I can get away with not training and still finish the race. But when we hit the run, my legs are so trashed that all I can do is walk fast. There's nothing left for actual running.
And I've actually started: 1.1 mile walk yesterday. And today I went to the Y and walked on the treadmill, rode the recumbent (ick! that particular model doesn't work for me), and changed to the upright bikes.
Of course, January is always the busiest month at the gym. I'm planning to be one who stays next month too.
total: 20 + 60 = 80/120 for the week (only a 3 day week too!)
